ROYAL OAK, MI – When Cadillac executives wanted a streamlined, modern loft setting to introduce the company’s new marketing campaign to the media, they chose SkyLofts MarketSquare in Royal Oak, a Morningside Group development, as the ideal environment.

Between 10 and 20 Detroit area media were expected at the July 26 news conference, being held in a newly completed one-bedroom loft unit in the 88-residence condominium building at 101 Curry Avenue in Royal Oak. The SkyLoft’s spectacular 400-square-foot outdoor terrace was the setting for a luncheon, catered by Royal Oak’s Pronto, following the presentation.

General Motors’ conference planners didn’t know it, but SkyLofts MarketSquare already had a few connections to GM of its own. A number of residents of SkyLofts’ buyers work at GM or one of its affiliates, according to development manager Nico Schultz.
