New Luxury Apartment Building Opens in Des Plaines

Leasing is under way for River 595, a new-construction apartment building in downtown Des Plaines.

River 595, at 595 S. Des Plaines River Road, offers luxury units developed and managed by Morningside Des Plaines LLC.

Floor plans include an 860-square-foot, one-bedroom, one-bath unit, and five two-bedroom, two-bath units ranging from 1,325 to 1,660 square feet. All have a balcony with city or forest views, and most include a flex room adaptable to many uses. Rental rates start at $1,420.

Master bedrooms have a large walk-in closet and whirlpool soaker tub. Gourmet kitchens feature eat-in islands, granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances. Baths come with granite countertops, ceramic tile flooring and tub surrounds.
