Morningside Group Announces Grand Opening at Prairie Town Center

Morningside Group has announced the grand opening on Sept. 8 and 9 for the second building of Prairie Town Center in Oak Lawn. The info center will be open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Located off of 95th Street at Cook Avenue, the 60-home second building will feature a brick-and-stone façade, and all residents will enjoy their own private balconies. Homes range in size from 844 square feet to 1,461 square feet and are one bedroom and one-and-a-half baths, two bedrooms and two baths, or three bedrooms and two baths. Prices range from $183,900 to $323,900 (prices subject to change without notice) and include one heated, indoor parking space and an individual storage locker. Exterior parking is also available.

Prairie Town Center’s first building has been a great success, with more than 80 percent of the initial offerings already sold. Occupancy for the first building will begin in spring.

Standard features at Prairie Town Center include kitchens with 42-inch upper cabinets.  Baths have cultured-marble tops and buyers can choose from a selection of vanity styles.

Prairie Town Center is just a short walk from the Metra train station and several retail, food and service businesses.

Prairie Town Center is a joint venture of Morningside Group and Mid-America Development Partners. Morningside Group also served as Program Manager for the Oak Lawn Transportation Center Redevelopment, consisting of a new Metra station, an 821-space municipal parking structure and retail development.
