Condo Sales Set in River North

Sales are under way and a model is open for viewing at The Superior at LaSalle, a 14-story condominium development located at 150 W. Superior St. in River North.

The architecturally sleek building offers residences with floor-to-ceiling thermal pane windows, 9 1/2-foot to 15-foot ceiling heights, GE SmartHome technology with all-in-one video and data wiring in every room, stainless-steel kitchen appliances, gas fireplaces with stone mantels and tile, plank hardwood flooring and full-size washers and dryers in each unit.

Units available range from 892 to 2,000 square feet, and each has a private balcony or terrace. They are base-priced from $375,000 for a one-bedroom plan to $900,000 for a three-bedroom unit. Penthouses start at $1,150,000.

The Superior at LaSalle was designed by Hartshorne + Plunkard Architects and is being developed by Affinity Development in partnership with KBL Construction.

A furnished and decorated model is open for viewing at Arbor Court condominiums in Oak Lawn, a five-story courtyard building with 13 of its 84 units remaining for sale.

Remaining residences range from 1,338 to 1,591 square feet, and have two bedrooms and two baths, some with a den. They are priced from $282,900 to $317,900, including upgrades.

Each unit is pre-wired for cable TV and high-speed Internet. Individual storage lockers are located on each floor of the building and a heated, indoor parking space is included with each unit. Arbor Court’s exterior features a brick-and-stone facade, and a Spanish-style, red-tile roof.

Located at 96th Street and 51st Avenue, Arbor Court is a joint venture of developer Morningside Group and Mid-America Development Partners.

Three decorated models are open for viewing at Lincoln Crossing, a 35-unit new-construction condominium development at 5588 N. Lincoln Ave.

Lettvin Development Corp. expects construction to be completed this spring and initial occupancies within the next 30 days.

Available residences are priced from $238,000 to $358,000, with two top-floor residences priced at $510,000 and $520,000. Indoor parking spaces are $17,900.

The one- and two-bedroom units, some with dens, range from 950 and 1,350 square feet. The top-floor units have 1,700 to 1,730 square feet and include a gas fireplace and private elevator lobby with a barrel ceiling.

Standard amenities include hardwood floors in main living areas, wall-to-wall carpeting in bedrooms, a washer and dryer, and individually controlled heating and air conditioning. Each unit is wired for telephone, Internet and high-definition TV.

The five-story building is based on Prairie-style architecture and mirrors the stone-and-brick style of the Budlong Woods Library across the street.

Lincoln Crossing is located on the southwest corner of Bryn Mawr and Lincoln Avenues and will include ground-floor retail space.
